設計人種誌學入門手冊

方才在觀察與設計上面看到的，真的是非常不錯簡短的 Introduction，看完後會有 “原來這就是 Ethnography 啊”。節錄一下:
美國平面設計學會(American Institute of Graphic Art, AIGA)與Cheskin這家顧問公司合作，搞了一本(應用於設計中的)人種誌學入門手冊出來，在網路上可以免費下載。
其中一段介紹: “Ethnography is a research method based on observing people in their natural environment rather than in a formal research setting.” 原來 Ethnography 就是觀察人在日常環境中的行為。其中像是經典的 :”Ethnography highlights differences between what people perceive they do and what they actually do.” 其實我們都知道，使用者都是知行不合一的，如果真的聽完使用者的 Complaint 之後，按照他們的想法來改進之後，恐怕還是設計出不符合使用者 “期望” 的產品。讓我想到 Nokia 的名句: “First, […]
