創新使用者互動介面研究 (UIUI)

Light Touch 的設計, 包括了一個微距投影機, 以及一個 Camera, 藉由偵測 occlusion 就可以知道使用者 touch 到哪一個地方, 因此可以在任何得平面上面創造出 10.1 吋的 Touch Screen. 雖然聽起來不怎麼樣, 但是重點是, 他們提出來的 context 應用都很不錯

由 Microsoft 跟 CMU ETC 合作的 project，將 Dungeons & Dungeons 搬上了 Surface Table。使用者可以利用實體可以觸碰的道具，結合虛擬的遊戲介面。我想，這樣子的遊戲方式，在未來會逐漸風行，我想任何的 Boradgame 做這樣子的改造都會非常有趣。

來自RWTH Aachen University in Germany 以及 UC San Diego 所聯手打造出來的 Slap Widgets。主要概念是利用矽膠的介面來讓使用者在 Multitouch 的桌面上面能夠有更多的觸感。而所用到的技術非常簡單，就是在每個不同 widget 的矽膠下面貼上反光 pattern，如此就可以來辨認不同的 widget 了。這個研究在 CHI 2009 上面也可以看到。

MIT 的  Adam Kumpf 有個新計劃叫做 Trackmate 。主要是要讓大家方便自己 DIY 一個 suface table，然後可以用實體的 objects 在上面互動。

Wake of Death move Killer's Kiss film SecondLight + iPhone 會是什麼呢? Stimulant 這家公司認為可以達到 X-Ray 的效果的 demo, 雖然不需要 iPhone 也可以有這樣子的 demo (因為這就是 SecondLight 的創新啊), 不過有了個 iPhone 可以直接的 manipulate, 似乎好像比較直覺

來自 Immersion 的團隊, 將 Multiotouch 的應用進化了一下, 把 Multitouch 的介面給 Cubic 化了. 它們稱這樣子的介面為 Cubtile. 不過我看了一下 demo, 恩, 如果我用 hot key 切換這些功能也沒什麼不好…

去年由 MS 跟 Apple 聯合揭開了 Multitouch 的年代, 在這個科技日新月異的世界當中, 有時候我們已經分不清楚什麼是魔術, 什麼是科技了. 這句話有沒有很熟悉? 恩, 我只是把 Arthur C. Clarke 的話換句話說了一下。對於未來, 存在於我們的想像之中, 但是似乎又只是在咫尺之遙, 有時候我不禁會讚嘆一下, 我正處在最美好的年代 — 因為一切即將超出我的想像.
